“Investment” refers to funds contributed by users towards farm projects.
Users must be at least 18 years old.
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Farmvester reserves the right to verify identity and compliance with KYC/AML requirements.
Farmvester provides a Farm-as-a-Service investment platform where users can:
Browse and invest in farm projects.
Track harvest progress and revenue.
Receive profit distributions based on agreed terms.
Farmvester does not guarantee returns; all investments are subject to agricultural and market risks.
Maintain confidentiality of login credentials.
Ensure funds used for investment are legally obtained.
Comply with all applicable South African laws.
Avoid misuse of the platform, including fraud, hacking, or unauthorized access.
Investments are allocated to specific farm projects.
Returns are distributed based on actual harvest yields and sales revenue.
Profit-sharing ratios are disclosed before investment.
Farmvester is not liable for losses due to crop failure, market fluctuations, or force majeure events.
Transaction fees, service charges, and withdrawal limits are disclosed in the platform’s Fee Schedule.
Farmvester reserves the right to update fees with prior notice.
Farmvester, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the platform.
Liability is limited to the amount of the user’s investment in the affected project.
All content, trademarks, and designs on Farmvester are owned by or licensed to Farmvester.
Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without prior written consent.
Farmvester may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms.
Users may close their accounts at any time, subject to settlement of outstanding obligations.
These Terms are governed by South African law.
Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, failing which arbitration may be conducted in Johannesburg under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).
